Charity Mentors Oxfordshire’s mission is to provide leaders of the Oxfordshire voluntary sector with effective mentoring and to facilitate strategic thinking and skilful leadership.
Our values
Belief in the value of mentoring
Belief that mentee self-determination, facilitated by the skills of an experienced and inclusive mentor, is a powerful process that often uncovers the optimal solution.
A pro-bono, voluntary service
Our service is provided free of charge to all the organisations that we support and is always the result of a request from the mentee, not any third party.
Respect for confidentiality
The content of mentoring is confidential. Sharing within the charity is limited to what is needed for good practice, and content is never shared externally without written permission from the mentee.
Continuous improvement
The quality of our mentoring is the key to our success and we support our mentors to learn and grow as they support others.
