Our service
Our core service is short-term, focused mentoring — typically lasting four to six months — designed specifically for charity leaders. Each mentoring partnership centres on a defined strategic challenge that requires time, reflection and clear thinking.
Who we mentor
We support Oxfordshire-based not-for-profit organisations of all sizes.
Our mentoring is focused on achieving clearly defined goals that lead to meaningful strategic outcomes. We mentor leaders from diverse backgrounds, with varying levels of experience and confidence. To ensure impact, the individual being mentored must be involved at a strategic level within the organisation – they may be a CEO, executive director, or a board Chair.
Challenges we address
Leaders come to us with a wide range of issues, including:
Organisational resilience and long-term sustainability
Team and organisational structure
Trustee relationships and governance
Leadership development and confidence
Isolation, overwhelm, or loss of focus
Strategic planning and business planning
Exploring alternative service or income models
Stakeholder relationships
Managing growth and next-stage development
Change management
An external perspective or “sense check” on strategic thinking
At its heart, our mentoring provides something many charity leaders rarely get: space to think, clarity to decide, and confidence to lead.
Our impact
Since 2013, we have worked with over 350 different charity and community group leaders in a broad range of sectors. We track outcomes for individual mentees and the impact that mentoring has on their organisation by asking two key questions:
How did mentoring help you in your work?
How has mentoring helped your organisation?
